Cougar Peak #145
4.75" x 6.75" Acrylic on Paper
Today when I started to paint there was a layer of fog that came right down just above the old barn, but by the time I was getting done the fog was starting to burn off quickly. This painting I sketched out quickly with pastel and blue pencil, laying down a big area of gray and smearing it with my fingers. I then sealed it and proceeded to bring the acrylics in over the top.

This is quite a contrast to in style and circumstance than #143. What will you do if you have a week of no changes on Cougar Peak?
I keep coming here and scanning through all the pictures. #76 always surprises me.
I'm thinking it could get harder as the mountain and I get into some of those hotter summer days where there is not much change in the weather, but we usually have forest fires, thunderstorms...and of course I can always change up technique too keep it interesting.
