Cougar Peak #268
4.75" x 6.75" Pastel/Acrylic on Paper
There was this wonderful bit of cloud overshadowing the top of the peak. For this painting I started out working in pastel, and once I had gotten to a point that I was happy with, sealed it, and then painted over the top of it with acrylic. I tried to keep a bit of the underlying pastel, but yet still add strokes of acrylic where I thought would be appropriate.
