Cougar Peak #349
4.75" x 6.75" Oil on Paper
The snow from the heavens continues to fall upon the face of the earth and pile up on the slopes of the mountain. On this painting I started out by working up a very loose pencil sketch. I then came in back over the top of my sketch with my oils, first concentrating on my darker values and then working up from there.

this doesnt mean a thing, being the opinion of an 18year old who knows not a thing about art, but i have to say that i am completely swept away by what u've done here. i'm looking at each image, findig each fascinating, and i must thank you for giving me my first look at how everything around me is changing every day, if i only look to see.
Thank you Gloworm!...and yes your comment does mean something, and your opinion(age never being a factor) is most important, because you like me have been given a mind to think with, a heart to feel, and a tongue to express that which comes from within whether it be blessings or cursing. The fact that my images have moved you to express those thoughts and feelings and look at the world a bit differently is of the highest form of compliment an artist receive.
