Cougar Peak #174
4.75" x 6.75" Acrylic on Paper
This evening the sun was beautiful as it laid along the side of the mountain. This image was painted on a piece of tan paper, so I had a nice base to work off of. I decided to forgo the sketch and just begin to lay down paint, trying to keep my strokes quick and bold, so that I might be able to retain and capture some of the mountain's energy.
