Cougar Peak #176
4.75" x 6.75" Acrylic on Paper
Today we were treated with a bit of fresh snow on the mountain....so much for summer. Anyways, it was a delightful change, and a surprise, especially for this late in June. For this image I started out directly painting on a piece of gray paper, blocking out my shapes as usual, and then coming back in with the details.

Wow... snow at the end of June.. pretty amazing. Your record of the mountain day after day is pretty amazing too, Jared! Way cool blog!
Thanks Diana!...having snow at the end of June was a little crazy, I don't remember ever seeing it come that late before....so much for global warming...hahah.
