Cougar Peak #247
4.75" x 6.75" Acrylic/Pastel on Paper
This evening I started out my image with a brown prismacolor pencil, and then worked over the top of that with a 6B lead pencil. Once I had completed that stage I came back in with pastel and worked over the top of my initial sketch, and then sealed it to get ready for my paints. Finally I came worked in my acrylic paints, darkening up the canyon, and adding bits of color here and there, as well as the final details.

I don't know if you ever take in-progress shots. I think it would be interesting to see the pencil, the pastels, etc.....
I haven't really taken the time to do that....but I agree it would be interesting, or even do a video of me painting one of these.
