Things cleared up a bit today bringing an even colder chill to the air. After the wind and rain last night, the mountain presented itself with a bit of fresh snow. For this painting I wanted to capture some of that freshness that the snow presented. I purposefully kept my strokes quick, hardly letting my brush pick up from the paper, so as to not give my self an opportunity to think.....but to just paint by instinct.
