4.75" x 6.75" Pastel on Paper
Time to changes things up a bit and switch media. The mountain was dappled and sponged with a pile of fresh snow, and something about it just screamed out pastel! For this painting I built up my darker value to begin with lightening them up gradually until I was coming back in with highlights.
