Cougar Peak #318
4.75" x 6.75" Acrylic on Paper
A beautiful crisp November morning, as the temperature dipped down below 20 degrees. I was able to catch the mountain just as the first few rays of direct sunlight laid upon the mountain peak. On this painting I blocked out the silhouette of the mountain with a quick value wash and then proceeded to add in the form changes, highlights, fog, etc.
