Cougar Peak #361

Once again we find the mountain held in the grip of icy winter. The cloud level was just low enough to engulf the top of the mountain, as the bottom was bare to reveal it's cold icy body. For this painting I started out by working up a quick sketch with a liner brush. I then came back in with a larger flat blocking in some of my major shapes, and then going back to the liner, to bring in details, highlights, etc......
