Cougar Peak #362
4.75" 6.75" Acrylic on Paper
A flurry of white fell from the sky while I was doing this painting, creating this great sense of atmosphere. For this painting I had to start out with a much lighter value when painting the mountain, since looking through all of that snow really lightens things up. I then came back in over the top with my snow flakes, as well as the details/highlights.
