Cougar Peak #355
4.75" x 6.75" Acrylic on Paper
Today.....another brisk chilly day as the rain and fog have finally lifted and colder temperatures have settled in. It is nice once again to be able to see the sun, as well as the top of the mountain. This image marks the last painting of fall and the begining of winter, and what will be the final ten paintings for Cougar Peak-A-Boo.

Love the aerie reaches of the mountain top and sky---all those wonderful spidery lines and the pure blues and whites. How do you feel about nearing the end of the series? What will you do next?
Thanks Laureline!!.....well, there is a lot of emotions at the moment coming to the surface as the days draw to a close. I feel a lot like a marathon runner who is on that last leg of the race with the finish line in sight. I love the painting the mountain even at this point still....but I think I am ready for a break.
Next, hmmm..... well the sick part of me has actually considered doing it for a second year, so that I can compare it against this last year...but the sane part of me says NO!....so at the moment it is still up for debate.
