Cougar Peak #213
4.75" x 6.75" Oil on Paper
I had so much fun with my oils yesterday, that I decided to try them again. Yesterday I worked on a piece of white comic backer board, but today I worked on a piece of grey printmaking paper. To start out I worked up a quick sketch in pencil, and after that was completed, I came back in over the top with my oils, building up the values in the canyon first and then progressively working towards my highlights.
