Cougar Peak #235
4.75" x 6.75" Oil on Paper
On this painting I did a bit more blending than I usually do, as I tried to capture the light as it climbed over the nearby mountains and bathed the peak in light. I like how the top of the mountain has a softer feel to it in places, and how the light transitions into the shadows on some spots instead of the hard edge.
