Cougar Peak #233
4.75" x 6.75" Oil on Paper
Today I woke up to more clouds and rain, and the mountain was pretty much obliterated by clouds. I started this painting out concentrating on the darker mountain shapes, cutting them in quickly. After that part was completed I came back in working in the clouds, and then finally putting in the tree, barn and field on the bottom.
